The Mermaid is an interesting piece of work in pine wood which is small in size and strong in character. This creation can sum up Samuel Bugeja’s art. Originality, gracefulness and charm can all be found in his Mermaid, where he exploits the peculiar form of the wood to capture the mystery which emanates from this mythological half-woman and half-fish.
