Unfinished Sculpture of a Young Jesus

Carved in oak, the artist created his interpretation of a young Jesus. The face has the innocence of a child, yet his posture and looks say much more. Jesus wears the type of cloak one expected at that time.

This sculpture was intended to form part of a two-piece subject. In fact, St Joseph was also started, but was never finished, very much in the early stages.
